Kashig Gram Panchayat covers 7 Wadis with about 3000 persons and 400 households. The ongoing project envisages setting up of a model farm to showcase best agricultural practices and motivate the inhabitants of the village to adopt the same, in order to reduce cost, increase productivity, thereby increasing the profitability of the farmers. The target is to double the income of the farmers in next 3 years.
