The first of July 2016 was the day history was made by district 3131 wherein the goal of planting 5 lac saplings was carried out. The Rotary Club of Khadki took enthusiastic part in this endeavor at Chimli near Chakan by planting 5000 saplings the highest ever done in our clubs history. The uniqueness of the project was that we were ably assisted by a 200 strong contingent of our interactors from the kilbil school. The whole project was executed with precision and in a time bound manner due to excellent efforts by service director Rtn. Shailendra Agarwal. Further the project got an elevated status by participation of our CSR partners Tata Hendrickson Suspensions Limited who got a first hand experience of the excellence of the Rotary machinery.
